OMGC Driving Season Kick-Off

Hats Off to the OMGC 2024 Driving Season Kick Off Event

Come join us for a drive from Ottawa to the St. Lawrence Seaway along some of our finest back-roads, followed by a lunch and the Best Hat Contest.

When: Sunday, April 28th, starting @ 9:30 a.m.
Starting point: Hogs Back Park Parking Lot, Hogs Back Road, Ottawa
Lunch: McIntosh Inn, Morrisburg

Gather at Hogs Back area in Ottawa. Follow a route heading South to the Long Sault Parkway.
Stop for lunch at the MacIntosh Inn.

For those in the East who would prefer to join us along the way, we will be stopping for a short break at the Tim Hortons in Embrun (777 Notre-Dame Street) at approximately 10:30 am.

Best Hat Contest
Find, make, buy, borrow, steal, decorate a hat to win prizes and bragging rights for the best hats of the OMGC 2024 driving season. The only rule is that the hat must be wearable as a hat. You may be asked to prove it. Winners will be selected from 5 categories, most glamorous women & men, most creative women & men, Best Overall/Judges Choice. Internationally recognized judges will make the selections. Good luck!

Reminder: Bring your name tag, it will be helpful for the Judges.
