OMGC club member Bill MacTavish told me about a couple of places that may be appropriate for club meetings – not necessarily regular monthly meetings on Thursday nights, but meetings perhaps held on a weekend, at the end of a drive/tour (or even a regular monthly meeting if we wanted to move a typical Thursday night to a Saturday or Sunday afternoon for a change). Bill lives on the Tatlock Road (not too far from Carleton Place) and is familiar with both of these places, and he told me he has spoken to the management folks at both places - they are prepared, with appropriate notice, to manage our group.
