Even though the number of participants was low, the Drive Your MGA Day event was a good one. The weather was fine and the roads were good and the vehicles ran flawlessly (that means no tech sessions needed along the way). The Ottawa Valley Jog for the summer of 2010 is scheduled for August 7th with an overnight at the Best Western L’Heritage, Hawksbury. Our destination is Beaus’ Brewery in Vankleek Hill where we have been offered a tour of this popular micro brewery and the opportunity to purchase products. We intend to have a picnic lunch on the way out and a group dinner at the hotel. Cost of the dinner is $18 per person, but breakfast is included in the cost of the room which is $125.00 per double room. A total of 20 rooms have been booked but this can change once we have your input. Meet at the vacant lot across from Tim Horton’s in Manotick at 9:30am Contact Terry Haines at freyung@rogers.com
