OMGC - A Technical Session Is Planned For Saturday, July 29th.

Technical Session topic:
"MGB Steering Rack & Pinion and Tie Rods; Wear & Tear and Remediation"

Conducted by Club member Michael Cooke, starting at 10am at his home... 85 Ashgrove Crescent, Nepean

This is a hands on session with demonstration materials.
The session is not about conducting repairs to an onsite vehicle, but will have actual steering rack & pinion units for review.

Demo unit 1: The Original Equipment Manufacturer unit.
* How it works, what wears and can it be remedied. A review of options.

Demo unit 2: The first alternate unit.
* The so called Argentine unit.

Demo unit 3: A later alternate unit.
* Which parts are routinely available? Which are scarce? Which are no longer available?
