MGB Fuel Guage Sending Unit Problem & Solution:
I’ve been dickering with the original fuel sender on my new fuel tank but it behaves as it always did: it tells lies to the gauge, which then shows me 1/2 when full and E when half full and leaving me in suspense for the remaining miles.

Thought I’d try the new electronic sender:

Moss: 360-661 $38.99 US plus shipping plus tax

Found it was invented and manufactured by MG Owners Club (MGOC Parts) in UK and I ordered one:

34 - Tank sender unit - IMPROVED AHU1027Q

Price: £15.96 Including VAT at 20%

By the time they deducted VAT, added shipping and accounted for BrExit it cost me a total of $27.83 CAN
